The answers to today’s Quordle question, game #970, are…

When was the last time you used the word ELIDE? I bet it was a long, long time ago – or more likely never. I don’t think I’ve ever used it myself. For those curious, it means to cross out or leave out – and it’s a good, perfectly acceptable word for Quordle. But it’s also a difficult word. As well as the obscurity, there’s the repeated Es aspect, so well done if you’ve found it.

ELIDE aside, this edition of Quordle isn’t all that bad. DITTO has a repeated T, but that and the other two words are pretty common. A hodgepodge.
