The answers to today’s Quordle question, game #966, are…

You’ll find today’s Quordle a lot easier if you’ve included a U in an early guess – there are five of them in this game, including two each in FUGUE and UNDUE. In fact, it’s generally a vowel-heavy Quordle: 10 of the 20 letters are either A, E, O or U (there are no ‘I’s today), so assuming you did the sensible thing and played them all early, you’ll have done just fine.

Or at least you should have been – because apart from the letters, it’s not exactly easy. FUGUE is an unusual word, there are a few repeated letters on the board and ROUGE could just as well have been ROGUE. A real mixed bag.
