The answers to today’s Quordle question, game #972, are…

It’s been a while since we’ve had an unusual letter in Quordle – you should be back in SEIZE on September 10th. And as with that game, it was a Z that showed up today to make things even more complicated. It took me all nine guesses to complete today’s puzzle, partly because that letter confused me for ZESTY, but it wasn’t the only word I struggled with. DRAWN also gave me trouble (and W is another fairly unusual letter), and this wasn’t a game I was going to sail through with ease.
