A racing punter hit the bookmakers for a five -digit payment day after a ‘memorable’ Saturday bet.

It can be quite difficult to land even one winner on the flat action during this time of the year.

But it all came together for this William Hill Bettor, who would land a fairly remarkable quadruple About Haydock’s action.

Better

However, it was almost all in the first, with stress -free for Danny Tudhope and David O’meara just in time getting up in the opener.

The 6/1 shot went well and needed every garden of the 1M4F match to get up in the dying steps and to deny Shane Foley on board Kildare legend.

The perfect start for this gambler, but given the nature of the victory and this is the joint chances of the four selections, the trust was probably not Sky High.

That will have changed a little more than half an hour later when Kodi Lion – picked on 7/1 and 5/1 – came home more than 6F to make the two of two in the bet.

The Mick Appleby Runner was in a group of four that load along the nearby side, with the front three who all came from that group and racing against a 12 -year -old group on the other side of the track.

Those tactics worked a treat when Kodi Lion took it with more than a furlong to go well to win with a length.

A fearful wait until the 4.08 when the excellent called Oolong Poobong was the choice on 6/1 in the 11-runner competition.

About the Haydock Seven Furlongs, Connor Beasley’s ride made progress 3F from home and seemed to be in a fight with favorite Arabic leopard.

The indictment of Jamie Spencer then bumped into another runner and was briefly surpassed, allowing Oolong Poobong to go with 2F and score Arabian Leupard to score two lengths.

It all came down to the final, with an organ that for it from Dreef to 9/1, with nine runners at the start of 1 m.

William Buick was a favorite on board the 11/10 and attracted all the support and even looked like the best to go with two furlongs.

But after wandering around with another Furlong left, organ – just in front when he was pushed through – turned right in the final phase in but stuck.

Hot Cash on 17/2 also remained alongside the favorite, but both would be refused by Harry Davies and Organ, who drained the four runner bet in style to win half a length.

With the drifts in price and the best opportunities that are offered, the Punter would scoop a sample £ 23,715.15 in win – including £ 7,097.82 extra from BOG.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “There is nothing like changing £ 12 in five digits after landing a more racing on a Saturday afternoon, and this punter did exactly that in style.

“All four choices entered without a hik in Haydock and they ran away with a cracking payment of £ 23,715.15.

“And that is not all, because thanks to the best chances of William Hill guaranteed concession, the Punter received a larger price for their last choice than they had taken when placing the bet, which increases their profit by more than £ 7,000!

“It simply shows what the best chances can do and we take our hats to this punter for landing this memorable bet.”
