Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has become the latest victim of an attempted robbery after two men tried to break into his house using metal bars in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Carvajal was not home at the time of the incident, but thermal cameras detected the hooded men outside the house and they quickly fled before getting a chance to enter the building after realizing they had been seen.
The 30-year-old full-back was also notified of the possible break-in and ordered his staff to check the property, while the Guardia Civil also arrived on the scene, but the two men had already left at the time, as reported by El Confidencial .

On his return, Carvajal viewed CCTV footage of the attempted break-in, which showed that the men had climbed over the fence to enter his property, but failed to enter his house.
Carvajal’s narrow break came just 24 hours after Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was attacked in his own home by armed robbers.
Aubameyang and his wife were forced to lie on their floor by the group of men, and the 33-year-old striker was struck on the chin with an iron bar, leaving him with a broken jaw.
The former Arsenal man has since spoken out, admitting he no longer feels safe at his home in Barcelona.
“Hi guys, thank you so much for all the messages,” Aubameyang wrote on social media when addressing fans on Wednesday.

“On Sunday night, some violent cowards broke into our house and threatened my family and my children, just to steal some things.
“They injured my jaw but I will recover in no time and thank goodness no one else was physically hurt.
“The feeling that we are no longer safe in our own home is difficult to understand and describe, but as a family we will overcome this and be stronger than ever.
‘Thank you for all the support, it really means a lot to us.’
Karim Benzema is another high-profile LaLiga player who has been the victim of a robbery in recent months when his home was broken into in January.
Like Carvajal, Benzema was not at his home at the time as the heist took place while he was playing for Real Madrid against Elche.
