Realme UI 6.0 update will be launched in China next month
The Realme UI 6.0 update will be launched in China next month, a company official announced on social media on Friday. It is speculated that the update will be based on ColorOS 15 for Oppo and OnePlus devices, which will debut in the country on October 17 and could have similar features, including some powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Notably, Realme recently introduced six AI features for its performance smartphone, Realme GT 6, in India. It included Magic Compose, AI Ultra Clarity, AI Night Mode and AI Eraser 2.0.

In one after On Chinese social media platform Weibo, realme UI product manager Kangda Leo announced that realme UI 6.0 will be launched in China in October. While the official did not reveal an exact date, speculations suggest that the unveiling could happen around the same time as the launch of the ColorOS 15 update.
The alleged update is expected to bring Android 15 to Realme smartphones. While specific features of the Realme update have yet to be revealed, it is largely speculated that the update will include features that Google debuted at its developer conference while announcing its next operating system (OS).
The list of expected features includes Private Space – a digital vault for the applications that users do not want to reveal to others. It is also said to offer improved password support with single sign-on capability and the ability to save favorite combinations on split screen. Smartphones may also receive operating system-level support for archiving/unarchiving apps.
For developers, it can introduce new ways to further refine the app experience. They can potentially improve performance for use on any Android release. It brings with it Matrix44 and other canvas drawing capabilities, allowing developers to manipulate the canvas in 3D, in addition to allowing complex shapes to be intersected by the current shader or a difference from the current shader.
A report suggests that Android 15 may also use Bluetooth LE Audio technology to improve the smartphone’s spatial audio experience.
