Redmi K50i 5G India launch is scheduled for July 20. Just ahead of the launch, the specifications of the smartphone have been teased on social media, suggesting that it could indeed be the rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro as claimed in previous reports. The smartphone is also said to come in at least one color option which will be the same as the Note 11T Pro, but that color option could launch with a different name in the country. The Redmi K50i 5G is generally expected to launch in three color options.
Redmi announced the specifications of the Redmi K50i 5G this weekend with the last tweet mentioning the smartphone’s display that comes with Dolby Vision technology. It is already confirmed that the phone will get 67W Turbo Charge that is said to deliver a “full day’s charge in just 15 minutes”! Redmi recently confirmed that a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC will be powering the upcoming Redmi K50i 5G. All these specs are available on the Redmi Note 11T Pro that was launched earlier this year in China. This raises the possibility that Redmi K50i 5G is likely a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro as previously reported.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro was launched in Atomic Silver, Midnight Darkness and Time Blue colours in China. According to a tipster, Redmi K50i 5G will be launched in Quick Silver colour in India. The official information about other colour names is not known yet. They could be called Phantom Blue and Stealth Black.
Speculations are rife that the Redmi K50i 5G will come with a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage base variant, which could be priced between Rs. 24,000 and Rs. 28,000, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model could carry a price tag between Rs. 29,000 and Rs. 33,000. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon starting July 22, as per a report. As reported earlier, the phone will be launched in India on July 20.
