Redmi Note 11 Pro (2023) smartphone has reportedly been spotted on Geekbench, which suggests that the smartphone could be arriving with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G SoC with 8GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the company had already announced the launch of Redmi Note 12 series earlier this week. This won’t be the first time that the Chinese smartphone has launched an updated version for older models after the launch of its successor. Meanwhile, it is being reported that the Redmi Note 11 Pro that is scheduled to launch in 2023 will be a rebranded version of this year’s Redmi Note 11.
A Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2209116AG was spotted on Geekbench, which according to a report According to 91Mobiles, it would be the Redmi Note 11 Pro (2023) global variant.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Redmi Note 11 Pro (2023) could feature a Qualcomm SoC, codenamed “sweet”. The “sweet” indicates that the smartphone will be featuring the Snapdragon 732G SoC. The processor specification also translates that the device will be a 4G smartphone. Its predecessor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G, was launched by the company in early 2022 with the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC.
The latest Geekbench listing reveals that the 2023 version of the smartphone will run on Android 11. That could be disappointing, considering that Android 12 and Android 13 have been increasingly spotted on other smartphones with the same specs.
However, Xiaomi is yet to confirm any details about the Redmi Note 11 Pro (2023) variant. Hence, other information regarding the smartphone’s specifications, including more RAM options besides 8GB, could also become available after an official announcement.
Last month, it was reported that the Redmi Note 11 Pro (2023) variant has been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database and has received EEC certifications. report MySmartPrice suggested that a Redmi smartphone with model number 2209116AG has been spotted on the FCC database. It further states that the handset will be running on MIUI 13 out-of-the-box, which could be based on Android 12.
Meanwhile a previous XiaomiUI report spotted the Redmi 2209116AG model on the IMEI database. While not many details were provided on the smartphone’s specifications, it was speculated that the Redmi Note 11 Pro (2023) could be a rebadged Redmi Note 10 Pro.
