Redmi Pad 2 is reportedly in the works and could debut later this year as a successor to last year’s Redmi Pad. The company has yet to reveal any details about the alleged Redmi Pad 2, but its specifications were recently leaked by a tipster on Weibo. These include the specs of the tablet’s alleged display and camera. It is also tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC. Details of the tablet have previously surfaced online, suggesting similar specs for its display and camera.

The tablet could debut with a 10-inch-plus LCD display with a 2K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The tipster also suggests that the Redmi Pad 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 8,000mAh battery.

Additionally, the tipster also leaked the camera details of the alleged Redmi tablet, which point to an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on the Redmi Pad 2. It could run Android 13 out-of-the-box, with the company’s MIUI 14 skin on top.

Earlier, the Redmi Pad 2 specs were leaked and the new report backs them up. The previous leak also suggested the same camera specs and the processor name. The tablet is said to come with a 10.95-inch (1,200 x 1,920 pixels) LCD display.

The Redmi Pad 2 is expected to debut as a successor to the Redmi Pad that was launched in October last year. The tablet will feature a 10.61-inch (2,000×1,200 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM.
