Reese Witherspoon’s Daughter Ava Phillipe Reveals Her Mom’s Best Beauty Advice
REESE Witherspoon’s doppelganger, Ava Phillipe, has stepped into the spotlight to share some hand-me-down beauty advice.
She shared some free skin care tips she learned from her mother, including tips on what makes you “glow from the inside out.”
Ava Phillipe is the daughter of actor Ryan Phillipe and actress Reese Witherspoon.
In April, she was revealed as Global Brand Ambassador and the face of Vince Camuto’s Wonderbloom fragrance.
HUMBLE BEGINNING
Reese was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and passed on Southern beliefs to her children.
Mother and daughter have a close bond and Ava values her mother’s opinion.
This is especially true for her beauty routine.
For the couple, it doesn’t stop at the surface. There are other ways to be seen as a beautiful person.
“A common saying in the South, especially among women, is, ‘Beautiful is what beautiful does,’” Ava shared with People.
A good heart and good core values are more important than you think.

“You are only as beautiful as you treat other people,” the brand ambassador said.
She doesn’t like it when people criticize others online because of their appearance.
“I think beauty is very subjective, but being kind, being open and treating people with respect is not,” she said.
“I think if you’re a good person, you shine from within.”
MAMA MAKEOVER
Although Ava considers kindness to be the ultimate makeup, her film producer mother does have a few basic products.
Reese shared her favorite beauty purchase in a 2019 Harper’s Bazaar interview when she was Elizabeth Arden’s “Storyteller-in-Chief.”
She doesn’t mind standing out and the limited edition Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in Pink Punch was a great choice for her.
“I love bright lipstick. I think it’s the perfect accessory and I always have one in my bag,” she said.
SKINCARE ESSENTIALS
Two years later, Reese signed a five-year global brand partnership with Biossance.
Taking care of her skin is essential and she’s been ruining her day and night routine in 2021 Forbes function.
“Skincare has been a big part of my life for 30 years. I’m on camera a lot and I make sure I have a good base for makeup,” she says.
According to Reese, her “number one” is the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream, $60, because it’s the one she uses the most in every part of her regimen.
She said she washes her face every morning and then applies the repairing cream, followed by the Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil, $74.

To protect her skin from potential sun damage and UV rays, she finishes with the Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30, $32.
She explained that it’s “thick enough that you know you’re getting the right coverage,” but “light enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a white zinc mask.”
She said she removes all her makeup with the Squalane + Elderberry Jelly Cleanser, $29, and then follows with the Squalane + 10% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum, $65, and then reapplies the repair cream.
The actress added that she also uses 100 percent sugarcane squalane oil ($34) after every shower because it’s “deeply hydrating.”
As she’s gotten older, she admits she’s lost track of how much lip balm she uses. She keeps the Squalane + Rose Vegan Lip Balm, $12, in her car, next to her bed, in her purse, and on set.
