REVEALED: Matt LeBlanc’s Career Change and How the New Venture Helped Him Heal After Matthew Perry’s Death

He may not be ready to dedicate time to his acting career just yet, but DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that Friends star Matt LeBlanc is fully occupied with another business: running a luxury used car dealership in Los Angeles.

The veteran actor, 57, has never made a secret of his love of driving and hosted British TV show Top Gear until returning to the US in 2018 to spend more time with his family.

Now DailyMail.com can reveal that LeBlanc has gone one step further and put his money where his mouth is by investing in ‘exotic car’ specialists RPM Motorcars.

The company, based in L.A.’s Sherman Oaks neighborhood, offers “high-quality, exotic, luxury and sports cars for everyone,” according to its website, and is also adept at finding unusual models for affluent customers.

One of those customers may have been his good friend Matthew Perry, with whom he shared his love of top rides.

Corporate documents filed in Delaware show that LeBlanc has been a partial owner of the company since October 2020.

Exclusive photos from DailyMail.com show the veteran star hard at work in the dealership’s lot, while his signature black Mercedes G-Wagon worth $149,000 is also parked outside.

And it appears LeBlanc has also made the business a family affair, with daughter Marina, 20, also spotted at the dealership several times in recent weeks, sometimes wearing a gray T-shirt with the company brand.

Marina is LeBlanc’s only child with ex-wife Melissa McKnight, to whom he was married from 2003 to 2006.

She was seen heading to the car park with her father on Wednesday and again on Thursday when DailyMail.com visited the used luxury car dealership.

When asked for comment, LeBlanc hid from speaking to our reporter, but staff confirmed his role at the company.

The unveiling of LeBlanc’s new venture comes amid recent reports that he is taking a break from the spotlight.

The television star has not appeared in any film or TV projects since the 2021 Friends HBO reunion special, previously saying he was “taking some time off.”

His last acting appearance was as Adam Burns in the CBS series Man with a Plan between 2016 and 2020.

LeBlanc has had a rough year following Perry’s death just over a year ago following a ketamine overdose in his hot tub.

Fellow sports car enthusiast Perry owned an impressive collection of luxury rides, including a Porsche Panamera, Audi R8, BMW 6 Series and Lincoln Navigator.

The late Friends star was photographed months before his death last year behind the wheel of a new, custom-built 2023 Porsche Taycan 4S — a car that could have come straight off LeBlanc’s lot.

He also owned an Aston Martin Vantage V8 Roadster worth $145,000 and was previously spotted driving around Los Angeles in the flashy vehicle.

Perry, who was just 54 when he passed away on October 28, 2023, had long been open about his addiction battles and claimed to have finally gotten sober.

But toxicology reports carried out after his death revealed that huge amounts of the drug – often used by vets as a large animal tranquilizer – were present in his system.

In August, two doctors were arrested and charged with federal charges for providing him with the drug, while his assistant Kenneth Iwamasa was also arrested for his role in the actor’s death.

British-born ‘Ketamine Queen’ Jasveen Sangha, 41, is also charged with supplying street versions of the drug to Perry, as is low-level drug dealer Erik Fleming, 54, who acted as a middleman for Iwanasa and Sangha.

Iwanasa, Fleming and San Diego-based doctor Mark Chavez, 54, have all accepted plea deals in Perry’s death, while LA doctor Salvador Plasencia, 42, has denied the charges and is currently out on bail.

Sangha, who was considered a flight risk due to her British passport and foreign connections, remains locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in LA pending further legal proceedings.

LeBlanc was left devastated by Perry’s death, posting a tribute on social media shortly after news of his accidental overdose became public.

Alongside a gallery of photos showing the pair together, he wrote: ‘Matthew… It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye.

“The times we had together were honestly some of the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend.

‘I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you. Never.’

He added: “Spread your wings and fly, brother, you are finally free. Lots of love. And I guess you’ll keep the twenty dollars you owe me.”
