Rosie Williams has revealed the results of her secret hair transplant after undergoing the procedure two years ago.

The Love Island star, 30, told fans she made the decision after she no longer “recognized” herself due to “pieces of hair” falling out.

She suffers from thinning hair and bald spots as a result of “years of personal stress” that has had a major impact on her mental health.

She explained: “Unfortunately, my overall hair health has been getting worse over the past few years. I can only attribute it to the amount of stress I’ve had for personal reasons.

“My hair has become thinner and thinner and I have bald spots, the overall hairline has completely reshaped and I don’t even recognize myself anymore.

“What upsets me the most is that every time I wash my hair I sit on the floor in tears with chunks of wet hair in my hands that have come out of my scalp and I have no idea why.”

The former lawyer rose to fame in the 2018 Love Island series where she was linked with Adam Collard before being dumped.

She said: “Hair loss is not something I would wish for anyone, it completely affected my overall happiness and confidence – and after Love Island I was blessed enough to have a beautiful following on Instagram that I no longer want to share myself with. because I’m so ashamed of my hair.’

Rosie decided to pay a visit to the famous hair transplant surgeon and surgical director Dr Matee Rajput at his clinic in Manchester.

In the process, Rosie has her new hairline charted before embarking on the 22-month journey.

The star is pictured having an aesthetic injection to her head during the procedure, where donor hairs are taken from one area and placed in the area where the hair is needed.

She further explained the process: “The decision to go ahead and have this surgery is not a decision I have taken lightly. I’ve done extensive research on hair loss, how to grow your hair back, hair transplants in general.

“I’ve talked to friends and family, but it wasn’t until I had a consultation with Dr Matee at the KSL Clinic and really got some expert advice that I realized that a hair transplant was an option for me.”

After the surgery, Rosie gushed, “My hair is like it’s another person’s head. I have never experienced such growth as in the past 22 months.

She continued: ‘I think both the PRP treatments and the surgery have been so beneficial – not just for the transplanted area, but also for my natural scalp.

“My bangs used to be really short and stuck out all the time and now they pass my chin which is just great.

“It’s really been a game changer, that’s the only way I can describe it.”
