RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat: Hindus must learn lessons from the violence in Bangladesh | India News – Times of India
Speaking about society and the country in general, he said that there is a famous saying that even God does not care about the weak. “It is the duty of the government to prevent such indigents from arising, and to immediately monitor and punish the perpetrators. But until they arrive, society must protect itself and its assets, along with the lives of loved ones,” he said.
Bhagwat said his description of the situation was “not intended to frighten, intimidate or incite fighting.” “We all experience the existence of such a situation. It is everyone’s responsibility to make the country united, happy, peaceful and strong. Hindu society has a bigger responsibility,” he added.
Bhagwat said that Hindus in Bangladesh are being persecuted and have been reduced to a minority. They will need help from the ‘Government of Bharatiya’ Hindu community all over the world.
He said there is a “sudden increase in the number of incidents in the country inciting fanaticism without any reason (sic)”, but that there are “democratic ways to express and oppose this”.
He said that “resorting to violence, attacking a particular community… trying to spread fear is hooliganism.”
He said “deep state,” “wokeism” and “cultural Marxism” are talking points these days. “In fact, they are the declared enemies of all cultural traditions. The complete destruction of values, traditions and everything considered virtuous and promising is part of the modus operandi of this group,” he said, calling for a national redress against such elements while staying within the ambit of the law stayed. These elements are conquering educational institutions and spreading their distorted philosophy, he said.
