‘Run to Primark’ shoppers scream as they spot £14 dupe for iconic £890 heels
THEY ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR EPIC STYLE DUPES.
And it looks like Primark have done it again, as their new heels are being hailed as a discounted version of Prada’s iconic slingbacks.
A fashion fan went to TikTok to take a look at the £14 shoes, while urging others to “run to Primark”.
She bought the heels in ecru, but they also come in red, in sizes 3 to 8.
“Run to your Primark,” she captioned the video.
In the clip, she slowly rotates the shoes to show them from all angles: from the pointed toe and the triangular detail to the slingback and the elegant and trendy kitten heel.

And people were quick to react to the video. One wrote: “Giving Prada!”
And rightly so, as the shoes look almost exactly like Prada heels, but are £876 cheaper.
“This is so cute,” another commented on TikTok.
“When you think of a timeless heel, it’s no wonder that a pump immediately comes to mind. We’re bringing you this classic and refined style with a few updates to make it even more of an asset to your wardrobe!”, Primark writes about the shoe on their website.
They added that the pointed toe gives the illusion of longer legs and that the shoes are perfect for pairing with “workwear, formal occasion dresses or even wearing jeans on the weekend”.
They continued to brag about the “elegant and luxurious” heels, concluding, “This is a shoe you can rely on for any occasion!”
Not everyone was impressed with the new arrivals, however. One person thought they looked “plastic.”
Fashionistas have been flocking to the high street in recent weeks to snap up a slew of knock-offs, including a £12 bag that’s the perfect knock-off for Chloe’s £950 medium Woody bag.
While showing it off in store, a staff member at the Sauchiehall Street branch in Glasgow said: “Beware, dupe!
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
HOW does Primark do it? Keep delivering on-trend items at such unbelievable prices? According to bosses, it comes down to four things.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to them they can save by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothes represent the “latest trends”, “they do not use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores.” This includes things like “asking suppliers to package our t-shirts so they can go straight on the shelves.”

“Everyday bag for just £12.”
The bag in question is a cream-colored Medium Canvas Tote Bag with a brown leather trim and handles.
The only difference between the two? A cool £938.
