Samsung could launch its Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim on this date
Rumors have it that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is in development and could potentially launch as the company’s latest book-style foldable smartphone. According to the rumor mill, the South Korean tech conglomerate could unveil the all-new device first in its home country in September, followed by a launch in other regions. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is said to only be available in select markets, with speculation that several of Samsung’s biggest markets may miss out.

According to a report According to South Korean publication Chosun Daily, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will be launching in South Korea on September 25. Following this debut, it is speculated that the handset will be unveiled in China at a later date. Only these two markets will reportedly get the device, while other regions such as India, Singapore, the US, and the UK are still being eluded.
Since the launch is limited, the production of the smartphone will also be limited. Only 400,000 to 500,000 units are expected.
Apart from information surfacing about the launch timeline, it has also been reported that the handset will be getting an upgrade in terms of optics. According to a report According to Dutch publication Galaxy Club, the Z Fold 6 Slim may feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on the main display – an upgrade over the 4-megapixel camera on the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6.
However, it is speculated that the cover display camera will be the same 10-megapixel sensor. Moreover, the 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera may also be retained.

According to a report, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim could feature a titanium backplate, despite the difficulties in processing it to fabricate the hinge system and the plate itself. Carrying the ‘Slim’ moniker, the handset is expected to be thinner than its standard counterpart, with a reported width of 11.5mm when folded.
The device is also said to get an 8-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch external display. That’s a slight improvement over the 7.6-inch internal and 6.3-inch external displays of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
