Samsung could roll out one UI 7 Beta in these countries next month
Samsung unveiled One UI 7 – the new Android 15-based operating system (OS) – last month at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2024. It was speculated that the rollout would begin this month as a beta for the Galaxy S24 series, but that still needs to happen. Now, a tipster suggests that the South Korean tech conglomerate will release the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta in the US, South Korea and other regions next month as part of its phased rollout plan.

This information comes from a after on X (formerly Twitter) by Tarun Vats (@@tarunvats33). Citing sources, the tipster suggests that Samsung will begin Phase 1 of its One UI 7 beta rollout plan in mid-December. It will initially be available in the US, South Korea and Germany.
However, users in India won’t have to wait long to receive the update either. The first test builds of One UI would have been 7 beta spotted on Samsung’s test servers for the Galaxy S24 Ultra with model number SM-S928B, the Indian variant of the company’s non-folding flagship smartphone.
This development confirms previous leaks that also indicated that the update release date was in the same period for all models in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Meanwhile, it is speculated that the Galaxy S23 series will get the beta version of One UI 7 with a wait of “at least 2-3 weeks”. However, Galaxy S22 users may not get the update this year, while the Galaxy S21 series won’t be part of the program, the leak suggested.
At SDC 2024, Samsung announced that One UI 7 would be available in beta on Galaxy devices later this year. The official version of the update is confirmed to arrive next year, starting with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which is said to debut in early 2025.
