Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 rumored retail price suggests AirPods-like case
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds are expected to get an update soon. The rumored Galaxy Buds 3 could be unveiled during Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event alongside its foldable smartphones and the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Ahead of the official unveiling, a retail listing for the Galaxy Buds 3 gives us our first glimpse at the earbuds and their charging case. The listing suggests a sleek design for the audio device and a transparent lid for the case. The Galaxy Buds 3 have been speculated to resemble Apple’s AirPods and this latest leak further adds fuel to that rumor.
X-user (@TEQHNIKACROSS) spotted the alleged listing of the Galaxy Buds 3 on South Korean e-commerce website Coupang. The listing offers a sneak peek at the sleek, stem-shaped design of Samsung’s wireless earbuds and their case, marking a departure from the company’s previous design style. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Galaxy Buds FE don’t feature stems and instead feature spherical earbuds.
The Galaxy Buds 3 earbuds are shown in a metallic silver color with black tips, while the case appears to have a purple finish. The earbuds sit upright in the case in black holders. The case has a transparent lid and has a green dot on the outside, which could be to indicate charging progress.
The design of the Galaxy Buds 3’s stems and case resemble Apple’s AirPods, confirming previous leaks. The charging case also appears to have a clip that allows users to attach the charging case to things.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Buds 3 at its upcoming Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. The launch event is reportedly set to take place on July 10.
