Samsung previewed its Galaxy Ring at MWC earlier this year, and it’s expected to launch at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the upcoming Galaxy Z foldable smartphones. We’ve already seen multiple rumors surrounding the smart ring’s features, ring size, and potential pricing . Now, a tipster has leaked the design of the Galaxy Ring’s charging case. The upcoming wearable appears to feature a Galaxy Earbuds-esque carrying case and an indicator light to show charging status.
Here’s how to charge the Galaxy Ring
Tipster Ice Universe on Weibo shared the image of the alleged Galaxy Ring charging case. The case shows a chic design that resembles jewelry boxes with flat edges and a glossy finish. It vaguely resembles the charging cases for Samsung’s Galaxy Buds. The raised circular area in the charging case is said to hold the wearable in place. This holder is said to include a charging pin and an indicator that could show the charging status. The render shows the case in white, but Samsung is expected to make it available in more shades. It is also expected to support wireless charging.

The Galaxy Ring was first teased in January, with the company later previewing the device at MWC in February. It could launch alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, expected to take place on July 10. Samsung will start selling the Galaxy Ring in the US in or around August.
In India, the Galaxy Ring is expected to cost INR 35,000, while in the US, it will be priced between $300 and $350 (roughly Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000).
The Galaxy Ring will be powered by Samsung’s Health platform. It has been confirmed that it will be available in three color variants. It is expected to offer heart rate monitoring and SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring. It is said to be available in sizes ranging from 5 to 12. There could be a 17mAh battery in the 5, 6, and 7 size variants, an 18.5mAh battery in the 8, 9, 10, and 11 sizes, while the size 12 is said to feature a 22.5mAh battery.
