Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy units hint at this major design change
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in January and will this time consist of four models instead of the usual three: the base Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a new Galaxy S25 Slim variant that may debut later . The flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra may feature certain tweaks to its iconic boxy design, and recently surfaced dummy units of the alleged device confirm this change. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will probably have a rounder appearance this time. The leak suggests a shift in design strategy compared to the existing Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy units leak
In one after on X (formerly Twitter), tipster @Jukanlosreve shared a few images of the dummy units of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The leak suggests that the South Korean tech conglomerate’s non-folding smartphone will see design changes, with round edges favored over flat ones. Two of the smartphone’s four colorways, including a black shade, are also shown on the dummy units.
This is the second time that Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy units have surfaced, showing off the tweaked design. There is speculation that the company is aiming to move away from the boxy design that has become synonymous with Samsung’s Ultra models in recent years with its alleged smartphone.
However, it may still have similar design elements carried over from current models, including the placement of the power and volume buttons on the right spine and an identical rear camera layout.
