Samsung’s latest Unpacked event saw the announcement of brand new versions of the brand’s popular foldable phones. If you’re a fan of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5, you’ll find plenty of reasons to fall in love with the new flagship. And the wait is almost over: You can now pre-order your very own Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a 7.6-inch AMOLED main display and a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover display. It also features the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip for speedy processing. The camera array matches what we saw on the previous version, with the Z Fold 6 getting a 10-megapixel cover camera, a 4-megapixel under-display camera, and a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.

In terms of storage, you can choose between 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, and each device comes with 12GB of RAM and the latest version of the company’s software, known as One UI 6According to Samsung, you should be able to charge the 4,400mAh battery to 50% in about half an hour using wired charging.

There are a number of colors to choose from, but some options are only available if you buy directly through Samsung. Colorways that you can find at multiple retailers include Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy, while Crafted Black and White are both exclusive to Samsung.

How much does the Galaxy Z Fold 6 cost?

The starting prices for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the US, before any trade-ins or rebates, are as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (256GB): $1,900
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (512GB): $2,020
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (1TB): $2,260

Best Galaxy Z Fold 6 Deals

You can pre-order an unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 6 directly from Samsung and get double the storage for free. That essentially gets you the 512GB model for $1,900 and the 1TB model for $2,020.

Additionally, if you have an older phone you’re looking to get rid of, Samsung is offering up to $1,200 in trade-in credit. That means you can get the 512GB model for just $700 and the 1TB model for just $820.

And if you want to add an accessory, like a smartwatch or earbuds, you’ll get 25% off when you pair it with the Z Fold 6.

Similar to Samsung, Amazon is doubling the storage for free, meaning you can pre-order the 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 6 for just $1,900. What’s more, Amazon is sweetening the deal even further with a bonus $300 gift card with your purchase, effectively saving you $400.

If you also want to buy the Galaxy Buds 3, a bundle with all three items is available for $2,150.

Best Buy is also matching Samsung’s pre-order deal, doubling your storage for free. You’ll also get a $300 Best Buy gift card with your purchase and a one-month Xbox Game Pass membership.

And if you trade in an eligible phone, you can get up to $750 in trade-in credit.

AT&T is doubling the storage on your Z Fold 6 when you preorder it. What’s more, the carrier is offering up to $1.1K back with a qualifying trade-in — and the requirements are pretty generous. You can trade in any Galaxy S, Note, or Z Series phone from any year, in any condition or a qualifying smartphone with a trade-in value of $35 or more. Please note that the savings will be paid out over 36 months via monthly repayments.

T-Mobile is also getting in on the free storage upgrade fun. You can pre-order your Z Fold 6 from T-Mobile and get $1,100 back via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a new line to a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan. Already a T-Mobile customer? You can also get the same savings when you trade in an eligible device on the same two plans.

Eligible devices include the Samsung Galaxy S9 and later, the Note 9 and later, and all Z series devices, as well as the Apple iPhone 11 and later, the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G and later, the Google Pixel 6 and later, and the Motorola Razr Plus 2023. Some older models may be eligible for a rebate of up to $550.
