Samsung itself has virtually confirmed that the Galaxy S24 FE exists and will be released soon
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been leaking regularly over the past few months, so there was little doubt about its existence, but now Samsung itself has all but confirmed the phone’s existence on one of its websites.
As noted by SamMobilethere is a support page live on Samsung’s French website for a phone with the model number SM-S721B. The Galaxy S24 FE isn’t mentioned by name here, but that model number has been linked to the phone in previous leaks and early benchmarks.
It’s also the model number we’d expect, given that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is the SM-S711B (though the last letter varies by region).
Unfortunately, this support page doesn’t reveal anything more, as it hasn’t been populated with content yet. But its presence more or less confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is a real phone, and that it’s launching in Europe.
We also expect Samsung to release a support page just before the phone launches, so chances are we’ll get an official look at the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE soon.
That lines up with an earlier leak that suggested the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could launch this “summer.” That claim came out of South Korea, where summer runs from June to August, and now that we’re in August, we could see it in less than a month.
It could land later
But if Samsung was going to launch the phone during that timeframe, it might have made sense to unveil it on July 10, alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. So we may have to wait a while longer, and another Samsung Galaxy S24 FE leak did indeed point to an October launch or later.
Thanks to leaks, we now have a good idea of what to expect. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will reportedly feature either an Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 6.65-inch display, and a triple-lens camera setup powered by a 50MP primary sensor.
So, this could be an attractive alternative to the standard Samsung Galaxy S24 when it launches – if the price is right.
