Samsung may host Galaxy Unpacked on July 10 for Galaxy Z foldable phones

Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year is expected to take place in early July, with multiple sources already claiming that the brand has chosen July 10 as the date. Recently, a Dutch retailer confirmed the rumor by putting up an official banner for the grand launch event. Additionally, Samsung is said to have started sending messages to customers in India to reveal the pre-order date for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Retailer confirms Galaxy Unpacked event date

Dutch retailer mobiel.nl has updated its website with a new banner showing that Samsung will be holding its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. The banner (now removed), spotted by Tweakers (Dutch) includes an image that seemingly hints at the next generation of foldable phones, S Pen and the Galaxy AI logo. According to the banner, the event will be streamed live on Samsung.com.

There have been previous rumors about the July 10 date for the Galaxy Unpacked event. The launch is expected to take place in Paris. The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Ring during the event.

Samsung could start taking reservations for new phones this week

Meanwhile, SamMobile reports That customers in India are receiving emails from the Samsung Experience Store this week regarding a pre-order date. According to the alleged email, the pre-booking of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones will begin on June 26. While the information seems to be specific to India, the brand could start pre-orders for the upcoming foldable smartphones in other global markets on the same date.

This year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to offer modest upgrades over last year’s models. They are said to come with Android 14 and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC clocked at 3.9GHz.
