Samsung may not increase the price of the Galaxy S25 series to compete with Apple

The lineup will likely include a base, a Plus, and an Ultra variant. Now details about the expected prices of smartphones have surfaced online. A tipster suggested that the South Korean tech giant is not expected to increase prices for Galaxy S25 models and will maintain the prices of the current Galaxy S24 phones.

According to Sammy Fans, Samsung is unlikely to increase the price of the Galaxy S25 series smartphones reportstating an X message from user Jukanlosreve (@Jukanlosreve). The report claims that this strategy of the South Korean tech giant is influenced by Apple’s decision not to increase the price of iPhone 16 series phones compared to the previous iPhone 15 series.
According to the report, the base Samsung Galaxy S25 could start at $799 (approximately Rs. 67,400) in the US for the 12GB + 128GB option, while the 12GB + 256GB variant could cost $859 (approximately Rs. 72,500). Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ version, with 12GB RAM, is tipped to be priced at $999 (approximately Rs. 84,300) and $1,119 (approximately Rs. 94,500) for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, on the other hand, may start at a price of $1,299 (roughly Rs. 1,09,600) for the 12GB + 256GB option, while the 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants are likely to cost $1,419 will cost (approximately Rs 1,19,800) and $1,659 (approximately Rs 1,40,000 respectively Rs.
The report added that customers can get more trade-in credit in addition to free double storage and up to $50 (approximately Rs. 4,200) Samsung Credit on pre-booking and pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S25 series handsets. US buyers can get freebies like Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds under certain conditions. It is said that these additional benefits are at the discretion of the sellers and retailers.
