Sanofi Consumer makes stock market debut | India News – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Sanofi Consumer Healthcare announced its successful listing on the BSE and NSE. The company has emerged as a separate legal entity after its split of Sanofi India. This demerger, effected under the Scheme of Arrangement, was approved by the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal and became effective on June 1.
In line with Sanofi’s global strategy, SCHIL now operates independently, with a dedicated focus on the consumer health care sector, a statement from the company said.
Himanshu Bakshi, Managing Director, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, said: “India’s consumer healthcare market has tremendous potential. Listing Sanofi Consumer Healthcare on the BSE and NSE is a significant milestone for us; one that is expected to further strengthen our position and drive sustainable growth within the Indian market.
Furthermore, we remain committed to our mission, namely: self care as simple as it should be and empower our consumers to take control of their health”.
The portfolio includes allergy, digestive, pain management and multivitamin products with key brands such as AllegraDePURA, Avil and Combiflam.
