Savannah Guthrie’s Stark answer after the interviewer asked a daring question about her appearance of the internet

Savannah Guthrie said she didn’t know what veneer was after a reporter bravely asked if she had them during an uncomfortable appearance on a red carpet.

The 53-year-old NBC-Gastheer had celebrated the launch of her former colleague Hoda Kotb‘S New Wellness Brand, Joy 101, in Chelsea Piers last month when she was asked bizarre about her teeth.

During a toe-curling interview with ParademagazineGuthrie seemed to play a game on the red carpet, where she blindly chose questions that were written on folded pieces of paper to answer.

But when someone contained an investigation about her appearance, things became uncomfortable and eventually led that Guthrie was walking away abruptly.

A video of the tense moment has since become viral TapDividing the internet.

In the clip Guthrie read the question aloud, who said, “Do you have veneer?”

“What is that like bracket?” Guthrie answered and seemed stupidly beaten.

“The teeth,” the reporter helped.

“Well, I did Invisalign,” Guthrie replied. “Is that what that means? What are veneer? ‘

The reporter joked: “You would know if you had it.”

“Ok, I think no,” Guthrie went on. ‘No, I don’t have a veneer. I probably need them, whatever they are. ‘

“No, your teeth are perfect,” the reporter noted.

Guthrie then quickly ended the interview and told the journalist: ‘I’m going to get veneer. I have to go, get veneer. ‘

Viewers were divided on the bizarre question, as well as Guthrie’s answer – with some doubts about Guthrie’s lack of knowledge about veneer.

Others criticized the interviewer for daring to ask such a personal investigation that they were considered rude.

It was said to the comments: “Why are people so rude to Savannah? Omg let her just be human, it’s literally not difficult to be nice! ‘

In dentistry, a veneer is a layer of material that is placed over a tooth.

Veneer can improve the aesthetics and function of a smile and protect the surface of the tooth against damage.

Although Guthrie has not had a veneer, she has had a treatment for her vision three times.

In 2021 she underwent her last operation to take her retina again after her son had thrown a toy train to her eye two years earlier.

At that moment she spoke with people, said: “My eye is good. The short answer is that it is good and I think I have undergone my last operation. I really do it.

‘And I see it well, and I just have a recipe for glasses that I have not been able to wear [yet]. So I am super excited to wear glasses.

“And I can’t believe that all this took so long, but frankly since the operation I had after the pandemic last summer, my eyesight has been dramatically better.”

She previously underwent an operation to confirm the retina again in November 2019, shortly after the accident had brought her a blurry vision.

But the operation did not solve Guthrie’s facial problems and she had developed staractions by 2020.

In April 2021 she again sought medical help.
