Security has been heightened in Ayodhya after the Pannun threat
AYODHYA: The temple town has been turned into a virtual fortress in response to a threat from Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, head of US-based banned pro-Khalistan group SFJ. In a post on social media, he had promised: “We will shake the foundations of Ayodhya….”
Pannun, who is advocating a stop in Punjab, had also warned of attacks on Hindu temples in Canada on November 16 and 17. Surveillance measures have been stepped up and cameras and drone cameras are monitoring key areas, especially around the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
