The assignment, a summary of intelligence and analysis on global hotspots and national security threats, is checked and presented to the president by the office of the director of National Intelligence. But CIA officers write a large part of the analysis in the document and produce it, where articles and images are brought together on the classified computer systems of the agency.

The decision of Mrs. Gabbard as President Trump will open over time as assistants has finished me about whether the office she leads – which was created after 11 September 2001, terrorist attacks to improve Interagency coordination – should continue to exist according to two people with knowledge of his comments. Mrs. Gabbard has directly discussed Mr Trump’s concern with him and has considered how to revise the office, according to an officer.

Mrs. Gabbard’s office announced the decision internally on Tuesday. CIA employees were told in a memo of the analysis of the agency that such a movement had been considered several times over the years.

The Memo, which was described on the New York Times, said that there was “a lot to work about transition time lines and our own processes.” The infrastructure to create the briefing is considerable and owned by the CIA and is difficult to move or replicate at Mrs. Gabbard’s office.

Moving the production of the daily assignment was one of the two decisions that Mrs. Gabbard made on Tuesday. She also ordered the National Intelligence Council to move to her head office.

The movements are part of an attempt by Mrs. Gabbard to strengthen the role of the office of the director of National Intelligence and to ensure that she has supervision and control over two of the most important functions of her post. Critics of her freedom of choice claim that his work should be folded back in the CIA, whose current director John Ratcliffe is.

An official from Mrs. Gabbard’s office said that the physical relocation of the daily assignment was intended to accelerate response times to certain questions. The civil servant said the move was intended to offer the president more in time and usable “intelligence.

A CIA spokeswoman refused to comment.

In a statement, the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, did not tackle the step of the daily assignment of Mrs. Gabbard to her headquarters, instead that she “clearly does an excellent job, the president constantly keeps up to date on national security developments all over the world” and added that Mr Trump has “full confidence in her”.

Former intelligence officials asked questions about the move. Beth Sanner, who supervised the president’s intelligence letter in the first Trump government, said it would be ‘a big mistake’.

“In the end and ironically, it would probably reduce the ODNI role because it would separate their supervision from the CIA teams that do most of the work,” said Mrs. Sanner. She added: “It would cause inefficiencies and risk miscommunication and errors. Ironically, this will probably reduce ODNI’s supervision role over time and give CIA more control – out of sight, out of sight.”

The CIA Memo said that although the role of analysis directorate in supporting the daily assignment would evolve, “we remain laser-oriented on the priorities of the president and director Ratcliffe and our core mission-the generation and delivering insight with impact, free of political or personal bias.”

It is not clear how many CIA staff assigned to the PDB, as the assignment is called, and will move to the National Intelligence Council. People who are familiar with the case, who were not authorized to publicly discuss internal concerns, said a number of employees at the desk were looking for new assignments to prevent them from moving to Mrs. Gabbard’s office.

The relocation of the National Intelligence Council was previously reported by Fox NewsHe also reported that Mrs. Gabbard had removed the acting chairman of the council, Michael Collins and his deputy. Mr. Collins is a senior CIA officer who had been detailed with the council and current and former officials confirmed that he was sent back to the CIA

Mr. Collins is known for his expertise in the field of China. During the Biden administration he helped with the strategic planning that led to the Chinese Mission Center of the CIA. Mr. Ratcliffe praised the focus on China and promised to expand those efforts.

Mr. Collins and the Council had become entangled in a dispute about the truth of that of Mr. Trump Claim in March That a criminal gang, the Aragua, is controlled by the government of Venezuela. That claim is a central starting point of Mr Trump’s call from a wartime law to deport people accused of being a member of the gang to a Salvadoran prison without an appropriate process.

In February, the intelligence community an assessment distributed that came to the opposite conclusion. The administration asked the National Intelligence Council to view a second view of the available evidence, but in a memo in April, the council confirmed the findings that Mr Trump contradicted.

Laura Loomer, the extreme right -wing activist who has lobby The administration to dismiss other safety officials then attacked The National Intelligence Council on social media As “career-anti-trump bureaucrats” that “need to be replaced if they want to promote open borders,” I post images of Mr Collins’s CV and an article about the council’s assessment.

An official about the case denied that Mr. Collins’s removal was connected to the Venezuela assessment or with Mrs. Loomer.

Before the establishment of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in 2004, the CIA was responsible for compiling the daily assignment from the president and supervising the National Intelligence Council, which brings together various intelligence services to investigate different issues and write intelligence estimates and other assessments.

After the director of National Intelligence had taken responsibility for both, the operations at the CIA headquarters in Langey, Va., Just outside Washington. The opinion was that analysts and officers who work on the products would be closer to the CIA analysts who have drawn up most articles. The head office of the director of National Intelligence, known as Liberty Crossing, is a few miles away.

But an official inquired about the decision to relocate the PDB and the National Intelligence Council to the headquarters of the director of the National Intelligence Service, said that Mrs Gabbard and its employees could reform the assignment in response to questions from Mr Trump and other policy makers. It was not clear how that would differ from the existing system.

Mr. Trump chose Mrs. Gabbard for the role relatively early in the presidential transition. He wondered whether the office should continue to operate and discussed with Mrs. Gabbard how to revise it, according to a person with knowledge of the discussions. Some observers of the intelligence community have also suggested that it may have survived its usefulness, although that discussion is parallel to a question about whether it has grown far beyond the size it was originally intended.

Mastering of the daily assignment, Mrs. Gabbard can give a more direct line to Mr. Trump and his core circle in the west wing.

A series of senior officials receives a version of the assignment and many have a personal shorter. These officials often send questions or requests back to the office of the director of National Intelligence.

The congress supervised the daily assignment of the National Intelligence Council and the president to ensure that the information from all espionage agencies evaluated, not only the decision of the CIA Mrs. Gabbard would bring the people who are responsible for supervising the ultimate product.

Since the role of the role, Mrs. Gabbard has often tried to give her attention to the explained interests of Mr Trump on her social media feed, also by saying that all files with regard to the murder of President John F. Kennedy would be declared immediately without editors, as the president wanted.

Tens of thousands of pages were eventually releasedIncluding some with the social security numbers of different people visible, which means that the White House must contain the Fallout.

The files still have to show something that reveals new information about who was behind the murder.
