Shocking moment: 300ft superyacht collides with much smaller boat
This is the shocking moment a 300ft superyacht collides with another boat as passengers scream in terror.
A video shared on social media shows a £95million Lürssen superyacht gliding through the water on its way to another boat just off the coast of Yalıkavak, Bodrum in Turkey.
Moments later, disaster strikes when the bow of the ship collides with the stern of a 101-foot motor yacht.
It is unclear why the collision occurred, but the smaller boat sustained extensive damage to its rear. The occupants were unharmed.
The disaster follows the sinking of a £30 million superyacht during a heavy storm in Sicily, killing 59-year-old British tech billionaire Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah.

The building is reportedly worth $125 million (£95 million) and features impressive amenities such as a large helipad, a beauty salon and bathtubs carved from solid limestone.
There is also a state-of-the-art fitness room, a jacuzzi and numerous lounge and relaxation areas, both indoors and outdoors.
The motor yacht that was hit is also a luxury boat with a sun deck, a lounge and space for up to eight people.
The Coast Guard has launched an investigation into the incident.
