A SAVVY shopper has revealed there’s an Amazon product she swears by when it comes to not turning the heating on.
Since the cold weather doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, millions of people have already resorted to turning up the thermostat to keep their homes warm.

But according to one woman, they should just head to Amazon for a must-buy currently on offer on the website for just £16.99.
She raved about the MONHOUSE Premium Soft Fleece Electric Blanket, writing, “I love this!
“It means I can switch off my central heating completely at night! My dog loves it too so he tries to push me out.
“My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner! I grew up with it because we didn’t have central heating, but I stopped using it when we had heating put in 20 years ago.

“Now that electricity is so expensive, this is fantastic!”
She even took it upon herself to find out how much the blanket costs to use.
“For a single size, 35W (think this is the maximum temperature control), it costs 2 cents per hour,” she said.
“If you use 10 hours, 20 cents total! No problem!!!”
“I used the blanket for the last two nights, as instructed, warming it on setting 3 for an hour and then returning it to setting 1,” said another.
“When I’m in bed, I turn it off completely and fall into a nice warm bed.
“The best two nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time, and I don’t wake up cold during the night.
“The blanket is nice and fluffy under my flounce sheet, I don’t feel the heating elements.”
While a third said they use the blanket to “stay warm for peanuts”.
“This gem only takes 40 watts per hour on the maximum heat setting,” they explained.
“The average electric room heater is 2,000 watts. Do the math: it’s incredibly cheap to heat the person instead of the entire room.
“This only takes 800 watts for 20 hours.
