Shopper RHI ordered the perfect side tables online. What arrived her goobsmacked left behind

A shopper who thought she had found the perfect side tables for her bedroom was left a red face after she realized that she had made a large shop.
RHI Howard, from NSWStumbled a wooden stool in vintage style for $ 15 each on the affordable Chinese shop site Temu.
Without thinking twice, she initially assumed that they were designed to be bedside tables, so she added them to her online shopping cart.
But when her order finally arrived at her home, she could only laugh – the true size of the ‘tables’ told a completely different story.
While she laughed hysterically, RHI realized that the item was much smaller than expected – no larger than a small pot plant or a boiler.
When they were placed in her bedroom next to her existing bedside tables, the crutches looked a miniature and they were barely big enough to fit her iPhone On top.

In the comments, RHI admitted that she had not checked the product measurements or read reviews before they ‘adding to car’.
Now she is aware of her mistake and she will always check it before she buys.

The funny short clip has since been viewed more than 116,000 times in 48 hours and received a mix of comments from hundreds of people.
“Nice plant, however,” suggested one.

Many saw the funny side – but some were much less sympathetic.
“They have the dimensions on the product, I do not understand how people are being fooled,” one pointed out.

“Always buy only after reading reviews with photos,” they warned.

Last year Temu changed his name only a year after he was gesting in the Australian retail landscape.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed that they had changed the brand’s statement to ‘Teh-Mu’, despite the running of the original statement ‘Tee-Mu’ with an advertisement of US $ 7 million (AUD $ 10.59 million) during the Super Bowl 2023.
“While Temu continues to expand worldwide to new markets, we want to ensure that our brand name has a consistent and memorable presentation in different regions and languages,” the spokesperson told Femail.
“After a careful consideration, we found that the new statement achieves this goal better.”
The original Super Bowl advertisement contained a woman who turned around and showed her Temu purchases on the melody of ‘I like it, it is mine, the prices blow my mind’.
The new advertisement, which is animated, contains a catchy number about ‘shopping like a billionaire’ and the new statement of the brand name.
Fans of the online retailer, who was launched in North America in 2022 before they went to Australia and Nieuw -Zeeland and later Europe, noticed the change quickly.
Many of them commented on the old video after they went back to ‘see if they were right’.
