Despite it being September, a Marks and Spencer fan went to Facebook to tell them that they had already gotten one for their Christmas tree this year.
Go to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, They uploaded a photo of the adorable hanging decoration, which is shaped like Colin.
They wrote: “First M&S Christmas bauble. I know it’s early days but as soon as someone posts it on Tik Tok they sell out.”
More about Colin the caterpillar
If you want to add the bauble to your festive decorations this year, it costs £5.
The M&S website states: “Let Colin the Caterpillar add extra fun to your decorations with this hand-painted, blown glass ornament in the shape of a Colin-themed Yule Log.
“A hanging loop provides the essential finishing touch.”
The customer was right when he thought the jewelry would be popular.

You can also enter your email address on the M&S website so that you will be notified when the order is placed again.
It seemed that buyers were eager to get their hands on the theme item themselves.
Someone wrote: “we need 1.”
Another added: “I love having all the family members.”
And a third commented: “I’ll look for one.”
Meanwhile, someone brazenly tagged Aldi and asked, “Where is Cuthbert’s jewel?”
It’s not the only new non-food product M&S has released with a Colin theme.
The life of a dog
Back in July we told how pet owners were rushing to get their hands on a Colin dog toy that costs just £6.
The cute toy seems to be a hit with both dogs and owners, with many dogs and owners sharing it on social media.
The cuddly toy is 28 cm long and is a replica of the beloved M&S character.
The website states: “Give your pet hours of fun with this cuddly toy, shaped like our Colin the Caterpillar™ chocolate cake.
“Two squeakers inside provide extra fun.”
Ali’s video has been liked over 13,000 times and appears to be a hit with many dog owners.
One said, “This is amazing.”
Another added: “Oh my god, too cute.”
Others brazenly said they can’t wait for Aldi to release a replica of Cuthbert the Caterpillar.
M&S fans were recently left disappointed when the supermarket chain stopped offering an iconic treat.
The popular Colin the Caterpillar in a jar has recently disappeared from store shelves.
Colin the Caterpillar vs Cuthbert the Caterpillar
MARKS & Spencer has reached a truce with Aldi over the Colin the Caterpillar cake.
The upmarket supermarket and discount chain found themselves embroiled in a legal battle after Aldi started selling a cake called Cuthbert the Caterpillar, which bore a striking resemblance to the M&S creation.
It has now emerged that they reached a confidential agreement out of court on November 5.
The companies did not disclose terms of the settlement, but both cakes will still be sold.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “Cuthbert is free and looking forward to seeing all his fans again very soon!”
An M&S spokesperson said: “The purpose of the claim was to protect the intellectual property of our Colin the Caterpillar cake and we are very pleased with the outcome.”
The retailer began selling the famous Colin cake more than 30 years ago and the design has remained largely unchanged since 2004.
The only exception to this is seasonal events such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter, when M&S launches temporary new designs.
Colin is made with chocolate sponge and buttercream, covered with a chocolate layer, and costs £7.
Aldi launched its imitation Cuthbert cake in 2019 for £4.99.
Most supermarkets now have their own version of it, including Cecil from Waitrose, Charlie at the Co-op and Curly Cake from Tesco.
