Shoppers are going crazy for a £19 bag on your high street that looks like Bottega Veneta
TRENDSETTERS have made Bottega Veneta’s woven bags a fall must-have, but the price is unfortunately prohibitive for many of us.
Luckily, a high street retailer has released a dupe of one of their most popular styles for just £19.
Wayne Lineker’s daughter Tia sparked envy when she shared a photo from her visit to Abu Dhabi.
She looked effortlessly stylish in an oversized silk trouser set paired with Bottega Veneta’s large woven Intrecciato bag, Arco.
A lot of her 568,000 Instagram followers begged to find out where her outfit came from.
“What a beautiful outfit,” said one, while another asked, “Where is the bag from?”
“This bag [heart emoji]’, chimed in a third.
Despite costing a whopping £2,240, Tia’s bag has since sold out on the Selfridges website.
The spacious luxury item is made in Italy with an open design and leather details.
Whether they want to recreate Tia’s outfit on a budget or are looking for a bag to take with them on a trip, fashionistas have spotted the perfect lookalike.
Next has described their Neutral Raffia Weave Shopper Bag as “a timeless classic” that is “perfect for holidays” and running everyday errands.
It could be mistaken for Bottega Veneta with its neutral color and striking black trim.

It costs just £19, is spacious and made from durable materials.
Delighted shoppers have given it a perfect 5-star rating.
It’s not surprising that one customer wrote a rave review about the budget-friendly bag.
“I love it. Stylish, easy to clean and a great size for all my essentials,” they wrote.
It’s not the first time a retail chain has rushed to purchase an item inspired by Bottega Veneta.
The luxury brand’s Intrecciato shoulder bag costs a whopping £3,760.
“I tested supermarket jeans and my favorite is a Levi’s dupe”
Jeans are an indispensable item of clothing for everyone, but can the supermarket brands be compared to the iconic Levi’s?
Fabulous’ deputy fashion editor, Abby McHale, tested and compared four styles, here’s her verdict…
“As a teenager I lived in Topshop’s Joni skinny jeans and got my first pair of Levi’s in my early twenties.
But now, almost 30, I love nothing more than supermarket jeans. They are a great value and very comfortable. They also last well, which my £100 Levi’s didn’t (so much so that they lasted forever).
But while I’m a convert to supermarket denim, how good are the pairs compared to those in expensive stores?
Here I compare a range of styles, from skinny and straight to cargo and wide leg, and give my verdict and reviews.
- Bleached Wide Leg, F&F at Tesco, £22.50 – 5/5
- Skinny, George at Asda, £17 – 3/5
- Freight, M&S, £45 – 4/5
- Straight Leg, Tues at Sainsbury’s, £20 – 4/5
I knew there was a reason I loved supermarket jeans so much and I don’t think this comparison test has changed that much. And with some styles it’s really hard to tell the difference.
Sainsbury’s Straight Leg jeans are a dupe for Levi’s, but cost £20 instead of £100!”
M&S helped style lovers save money with an almost identical woven bag for just £29.50.
One customer described it as a “pure copy” of Bottega Veneta and admitted to being surprised that it didn’t sell out immediately.
“I can’t believe the fashionistas haven’t picked up on all of this! Wow, the bag of the season!” they said.
“I was completely swayed when someone commented on how much the bag looked like a designer bag at a fraction of the price!” wrote another.
