Shoppers are rushing to Aldi to grab a £4.99 purchase, which is great for spider season
NOW that spider season is here, you’ve come to the right place if you want to prevent creepy crawlies from entering your home.
Mating season is here and unfortunately for those who hate spiders, these eight-legged creatures are now starting to sneak into our homes.
You will see the animals most from mid-August to early October, when the arthropods start looking for a mate before seeking shelter for the winter.
While the females usually stay in a sheltered spot, the male insects wander around indoors in a desperate attempt to find a mate.
But if you’re one of those people who are terrified of these breathing arthropods, don’t worry: Aldi is here to help.
Donna Mcelhinney took to social media to show off her latest Aldi Specialbuys and left many people in awe.
Post message on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UKa closed Facebook group with 2.5 million members, Donna shared photos of her Aldi finds in the middle aisle, writing, “OMG I absolutely need these.
“I am the most scared person when I see a spider, and now that it is that time of year when they want to take up residence in our homes, I am even more scared.”
Are you scared of spiders? Then you’ll be pleased to hear that Aldi is now selling a spider repellent spray for just £4.99 and a spider trap for just £8.99.
The Zero In spray can be applied to windows, doors or vulnerable areas to create a barrier that deters spiders and prevents them from returning.
It is a non-toxic and chemical free formula made from natural plants and mint oil extracts and leaves no traces or stains.
And even better: it lasts up to three weeks.
Meanwhile, the Zero In spider catcher ensures that small creatures, such as spiders and crane flies, are safely removed from ceilings and corners without causing them any damage.
The brush has soft bristles that open and close around the animal without damaging it. They can reach up to two feet, even in the most hidden corners and holes.
