Shoppers are rushing to B&M to pick up great value summer essentials for next year
THE CURRENT weather in Britain is not exactly ideal for enjoying time in the garden.
But that doesn’t mean smart shoppers aren’t thinking about ways to make their yards better next summer.
In fact, many shoppers are currently stocking up on summer purchases for the garden, as many have products on sale to make room for their Christmas stash.
And one lucky shopper who shared his summer deal on Facebook has revealed what to stock up on in B&M.
They shared a video of their shopping – revealing the garden cushions they bought.
They wrote: “Garden cushions have been reduced in price at B&M, originally £8 per cushion, now £50p for the orange cushions, £1 for the green and corduroy cushions.”
Share an image of the deal to the Facebook groupB&M bargains, extreme money-saving deals and morethey revealed that they had purchased a total of ten pillows: seven orange, two white and one green.
Now the lucky shopper can save their bargains until next summer.
But it’s not the only B&M purchase shoppers are loving right now.
Shoppers have also seen garden furniture in stores at more than 80% off.
The outdoor sofa set called The Sorrento Tete-A-Tese set can be picked up for €20 instead of €120.
Posting to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper said: “Went through the till for £20.00! B&M Leckwith… bargain!”
Another shopper commented on the post, saying: “I bought this on sale last year. Nice set.”
“This would look nice in my front yard,” said a third customer.
The Sorrento chair set contains two chairs, two anthracite-colored armchair cushions and a coffee table in the middle.
The product is made of polyethylene (PE) resin rattan and is easy to keep clean.
How to save money at B&M
Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M’s scanner app.
The scanner allows you to see if the price of an item is cheaper than stated on the store label.
Products that are usually discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
The app can be downloaded for free from the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
According to a former B&M manager, you’ll also want to visit your local branch on Wednesdays at 10am.
Here’s how you can participate in the B&M bargain hunt:
- Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
- Once you install it on your device, click on the option labeled “more” at the bottom right of the app’s homepage.
- You will then find an option that says “barcode scanner”. Click on this and you will open a camera screen.
- Move the camera over the barcode of the product you want to check.
- If the price is lower, take it to the checkout and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
- To use the barcode scanner, you do not need to log in to the B&M app.
The product is not available online, so buyers will have to go to their local store to grab the item.
To ensure you always get the best deal at B&M, shoppers can download their scanner app to your phone.
