Shoppers are rushing to Home Bargains after ‘waiting all year’ for festive candles
CASH-PLEASED shoppers have rushed to Home Bargains to buy candles and diffusers that create a festive atmosphere.
One shopper said they had been waiting “all year” for the budget-friendly retailer’s most coveted scent.
Nearly 2 million people follow Bargains for home on Facebook with the intention of being the first to spot their latest offers.
They caused a frenzy when they shared a selection of must-have items ahead of Christmas.
Photos showed scented candles and diffusers including Snowflake Wishes, Evergreen Spruce, Gingerbread and Crushed Candy Cane.
The retailer also teased their Advent calendar with 24 burner scents.
“I’ll take them all please,” they captioned the post.
“We can’t decide which of our Candy Cane Lane candles is our favorite.”
Thousands of people liked the post and shared their excitement in the comments section.
One scent was a clear favourite, with scores of Home Bargains fans saying they were planning to stock up.
“Gingerbread is my favorite. I’m totally obsessed. Candles and diffusers are great,” one person wrote.
“I’ve been waiting all year for the gingerbread, it’s delicious, I’m going to stock up this year!” another commented.
“Gingerbread is always my favorite,” said a third.
“It must be the gingerbread smell throughout the house,” said another.
In many comments on the post, friends were tagged and asked to pay attention to the candles.

According to the retailer, it has a “woody scent” reminiscent of sitting by an open fire in a log cabin in the woods.
The Snowflake wishes candle is described as having a cool mint and sweet vanilla scent that feels cozy.
Crushed sugar cane has a “sweet, uplifting” scent, while Gingerbread smells like his name.
Customers said the candles are ideal for holiday gift giving.
“All these candles [heart eye emoji],” said one Facebook user.
“I get them all,” wrote another.
