Shoppers are rushing to Primark to get their new stylish collection and it’s perfect for autumn
As temperatures begin to drop across the UK, fashionistas are keen to freshen up their wardrobes with some stylish autumn pieces.
This has led to a shopping frenzy at Primark, with customers flocking to it click the latest range of affordable seasonal fashion.
The store, known for selling fashionable items at bargain prices, recently launched Rita Ora’s new collection.
Rita, 33, singer of Anywhere, talks enthusiastically about the new collection: “I am so proud and happy that my latest collection is now available at Primark!
“Each collection appeals to me more than the previous one.
“Over the past year I have really put together a range of timeless, trendy and on-trend pieces that suit every season.
“This one’s preppy, this one’s Clueless, this one’s eclectic Grandpa.”
Primark bosses added: “Rita’s style school is here! And the best part? No exams, just top-notch fashion for AW24 and beyond.”
The collection includes a buckled pleated midi skirt in a checked pattern for £22, an oversized polo sweatshirt for £14 and a pleated small skirt also available for £14.
There are also several knitted vests for the ‘opacore’ look.
Curious about grandpacore? Also called ‘eclectic grandpa’, this emerging trend is inspired by the typical clothing of a grandfather, as the name suggests.
The Primark TikTok account in Basildon, Essex showcased the new collection in a video on their account.
They captioned it: “OBSESSED with the new Rita Ora Fall/Winter collection. It’s cute, preppy and cozy.”
The video shows wool earmuffs for £5, a fleece-lined hat for £8 and gold hoop earrings for £3.50.
The video caught the attention of fashion fans and some took to the comments to share their thoughts.
Someone wrote: “This looks like the best clothes she’s released yet.
“I can’t wait to go get some of the pieces I saw on this post.”
The Primark account responded: “It’s AMAZING.”
Rita Ora launched her debut collection for Primark last September, giving fashionistas the chance to ‘copy her famous style for less’.
Her latest fall collection marks her fifth collaboration with the retailer.
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
HOW does Primark do it? Keep delivering on-trend items at such unbelievable prices? According to bosses, it comes down to four things.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to them they can save by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothes represent the “latest trends”, “they do not use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores.” This includes things like “asking suppliers to package our t-shirts so they can go straight on the shelves.”
