Now that the new home furnishings are on the shelves of the budget store, shoppers are completely “excited”.

And one parent, who bears the name of @haulatno4 on TikTok, believes there’s no better time than now to get your hands on some Christmas goodies — especially now that the kids are back in school.

They shared their festive purchases on TikTok and their video has now been viewed more than 157,800 times on social media.

The mother captioned the video: “The kids are going back to school this week so if we blink it’ll be Christmas, right?”

“I was so excited when I saw that B&M Stores had their Christmas range.”

It seems the candy cane print is most popular at B&M, as they sell candles in the same festive style for £3, and cushions with candy cane stitched on for £8.

The retailer’s festive collection also includes a glass Christmas tree mug for £3 and a pack of four green dinner candles for £2.50.

They also have a cute gingerbread man candle for £2 and a glass candy cane mug for £3.

Many people took to the comments to share their thoughts on the festive collection that just arrived.

“Have they got their wrapping paper and bags in yet? I like to be super organized,” asked one excited shopper.

However, another B&M replied: “No, not yet.”

Another enthusiastic shopper added: “This is where you’ll find me on the weekend.”

While someone else said: “Stop it right now!!!! I shouldn’t have seen this post. Because I want it all.”

A third parent explained that her son was going back to school today, so she spent the day “at B&M buying Christmas stuff.”

“I was in B&M today going through all the Christmas stuff and Christmas pyjamas lol,” said one festive fan.

“I’m so excited hehe. Homebargins is full too,” cheered another.

While one homewares enthusiast said, “I’m such a sucker and it costs me a fortune to decorate every room in my house and the outside seasonally.”

Will the Christmas decorations be released earlier this year?

It seems like Christmas decorations and products appear in stores earlier every year.
Retailers typically start stocking up on Christmas items well in advance of the holiday season to take advantage of early shoppers and extend the buying season. Here are a few reasons why Christmas items seem to be available earlier this year:

Extended shopping season
Retailers are looking to extend the holiday shopping season to maximize sales. By releasing holiday items early, they encourage people to start their holiday shopping earlier.

Consumer demand
Some consumers like to plan and buy their Christmas items well in advance. Stores play into this by having Christmas items in stock earlier.

Marketing strategy
Early displays of Christmas items can create a festive atmosphere and increase anticipation, encouraging people to get into the Christmas spirit and spend money.

Competition
Retailers compete to attract customers and by being the first to showcase their Christmas items they can gain an edge.

Supply Chain Considerations
Given recent disruptions to global supply chains, stores may be putting Christmas items on the shelves earlier to ensure they have enough stock and spread demand over a longer period.
