The popular retailer recently added a brand new candle to their ever-expanding collection — and there’s a reason why shoppers are loving it.

According to money-conscious home decor fans, ASDA’s Sparkling Sands Candle is a more affordable dupe of a huge fan favourite: Snow Fairy from Lush.

The signature scent has been energizing audiences for almost two decades, inspiring excitement and joy in the run-up to the festive season.

This shimmering scent takes many forms, including their iconic bath bombs, shower gels, body shimmer, to name a few – and one of their recent additions also includes the viral candle.

However, if you’re not keen on spending an eye-watering £36 for the Snow fairy candle with four wicksASDA superfans think their Sparking Sands are a handbag-friendly version of the high street favourite.

One customer, who regularly shares his top finds under @beautifulhauls.xotook to TikTok to inform others about the bargain deal.

Unlike the fancier candle, ASDA’s dupe retails for a friendly £9 for a medium jar and £12 for a larger jar – meaning you can save up to 4x the price.

The frugal TikToker called on fellow shoppers not to lose sleep over the find the video: ”Snow fairy lovers!

Plus, the supermarket also offers the same scent in a wax melt form for £3 – which is a cheaper option if you’re not ready to make a bigger purchase just yet.

The candle has a beautiful peach color and features a ”sparkling blend of peach, pear and red berries, nestled on a base of soft vanilla and white musk with hints of a beach holiday”.

Don’t have an ASDA nearby? According to some social media users, competitor Tesco is selling the same product, making for the perfect Christmas persuasion.

Dozens of interior design fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts and rave reviews.

One person wrote: “I already have it, I got it as a gift and I can confirm it definitely smells like Snow Fairy.”

”ahhh, I have to have this!” Another was planning a trip to the supermarket.

“Okay, gotta get to Asda now,” said a third.

“It smells like snow foul [fairy] I absolutely love mine,” one delighted shopper added.

However, despite the positive feedback, there was also criticism, as not everyone was impressed with the budget-friendly purchase.

“I don’t think it stinks when lit, don’t waste your money,” one critic warned.

”This is a scent I hate making! So strong,” said another.
