It’s always a good idea to be quick if you see a trending item on the M&S site, as they often sell out quickly.

Luckily, this sold out dress is back in stock and costs less than £30.

The Asymmetric Ruched Midaxi Bodycon Dress, £29.50, from the M&S collection was launched as part of the spring/summer collection.

It was sold out for months as fashion fans snapped it up, but now it’s back in stock.

Available in an elegant black color and a gorgeous modern asymmetrical neckline, the dress is a hit for several reasons.

Firstly, it’s only £29.50 and can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with trainers, so you can wear it for a variety of occasions.

In addition, the dress features pleats at the waist, which neatly conceal the abdominal area, giving most of us that subtle bit of self-confidence we crave.

Sizing is also very inclusive, with a choice of petite, regular and long lengths.

Available in sizes 6 to 24, making it suitable for all body types.

Satisfied customers gave the dress an average of four out of five stars and shared in the reviews why they liked the dress so much.

Someone wrote: “A flattering, easy-to-wear dress that can be worn both formally and informally. Good value for money.”

Another commented: “A very pretty dress, fits wonderfully. I am now 9 months pregnant and size 10 fits perfectly.”

“This dress is easy to wear and flatters the belly as the ruffles hide it,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “I love this dress! I was a bit worried it would emphasise my tummy but it was very flattering.”

Why Everyone Loves M&S

Deputy fashion editor Abby McHale told Fabulous why M&S is the store of the moment. She explained:

“M&S has really done a great job this season, there are so many good products to be excited about.

“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’, although that idea has long since disappeared, it is now one of the leading high streets for women’s clothing.

“The handbag range in particular is super strong, with a 170% sales rate against plan, and many more designer dupes at a fraction of the price.

“The brand is also now #1 for style perceptions, up from #3 last year. This is due to a very strong design team that is focused on modernizing the brand, taking into account not only how the pieces look, but also how easy they are to wear.

“Price is also an important factor as you can get a lot of good quality pieces for under £30.

“Having given us a sneak peek at the upcoming collection, there are so many more amazing pieces to keep an eye out for in the coming months.

“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and great accessories, as well as great wardrobe pieces that will last year after year.”

“Beautiful dress. Good sizing. Looks great and good price,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “This is a lovely dress. I bought it for a cruise. It’s not tight and fits true to size.”
