Shoppers say they’ll have to rush to B&M to get their hands on a £3 copy of a £3,100 designer ornament
CUSTOMERS are rushing to the supermarket to get their hands on a £3,000 fake designer belt for just £3.
B&M is one of the UK’s most loved retailers and continues to surprise its customers with its affordable products.
One item that has recently caught the attention of bargain hunters is a product similar to the Bearbrick ornaments. The retail price is £3,162.
Ellie (shared her find via a TikTok video)@fenloninteriors_) said: “B&M has launched Bearbrick and Balloon Dog [alternative] ornaments.”
Showing off the small silver bear-shaped ornaments at her local B&M store, she said: “Rumor has it that B&M have started selling Bearbricks.
“So of course I had to go and see for myself. And honestly, I just walked down the interior aisle and I found it.”
Bearbrick figures were created in 2001 by Japanese toy brand Medicom and have since become highly sought-after and exclusive items.
Ellie looked at the product and said she thought the price of £3 was fine, even though the products are small.
“I mean, they’re about the size of your hands, so they’re small, but I think they’re a fun styling item.”
Ellie then went on to say that B&M also sells a copy of Jeff Koons’ Balloon Dog sculptures.
In 2013, Koons’ Balloon Dog (orange) sold for £44 million at auction. It is the fourth most expensive artwork by a living artist ever sold at auction.
Ellie added that she hopes the retailer will release the counterfeit products in more colors, as she is a big fan of the products.
The video has probably made a big impression on many, as it has already been viewed more than 90,000 times on the video platform.
TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.

How to save money at B&M
Customers are saving hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M’s scanner app.
The scanner allows you to see if the price of an item is lower than what is stated on the label in the store.
Products that are usually on sale are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to sell.
The app can be downloaded for free via the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
According to a former B&M manager, the best time to visit your local branch is on a Wednesday at 10am.
Here’s how to participate in the B&M bargain hunt:
- Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
- Once you install the app on your device, click on the ‘More’ option at the bottom right of the app’s homepage.
- You will then find an option that says “barcode scanner”. Click on this and it will open a camera screen.
- Move the camera over the barcode of the product you want to check.
- If the price is lower, you can take it to the checkout and it will be automatically scanned at the lower price.
- You do not need to log into the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.
