Sickening moment motorcyclist spits at woman through her car window in Queensland
The shocking moment a motorcyclist spit at a female driver through her open car window was caught on camera – but the driver claims he was only reacting to her poor driving.
The footage was taken at River Esplanade, Maroochydore, on the Sunshine Coast, at around 9.30am on Monday, November 4, and shared on Instagram shortly after the incident.
It shows a middle-aged man driving past the woman’s car before turning and spitting at her through the window.
The woman reacts in disgust, rolls up her window and shouts: ‘You disgusting piece of shit.’
Another man, wearing a blue shirt, then confronts the motorcyclist.
“It’s a lady, mate. You’re not going to spit on people,” he said.
The woman thanked him for standing up for her and asked her passenger to write down the motorcyclist’s license plate number.
The video then cuts to a scene where the motorcyclist punches the man in the blue shirt as the woman drives by.
Shocking footage has captured the vicious moment a male motorcyclist spat at a female driver through the window of her car during an apparent road rage incident
However, the biker has taken to social media to share his side of the story, saying the video left out crucial details.
He claimed the female driver had used her phone, swerved into his lane on a bridge and almost forced him into the guardrail.
“To be clear, the driver was on her phone and came into my lane at Bundilla on the new bridge [and] almost pushed me into the guardrail,” he said.
‘When I stood up next to her to say ‘wtf’ she gave me the finger and a mouth full of swear words.

‘When I took a photo of her license plate, she became even more violent and said: I hope I get killed, hope you die.
‘Then the old friend in the blue shirt grabbed me by the throat, lunged twice and I punched him, after which I went straight to the police.’
He also claimed that the female driver first spat on him and also “threw things at him” while he was on the bike.
Queensland Police are investigating the attack and have not yet laid any charges.
The driver, a 42-year-old woman from Mooloobala, and her passenger were not injured during the road rage incident.
In Queensland, spitting on a person is illegal and considered an ordinary assault under section 245 of the Criminal Code Act 1899.
Common assault is when the person who was attacked has only minor injuries or no injuries at all.
The Criminal Code Act states that the maximum penalty for common assault is up to three years’ imprisonment if the perpetrator is found guilty of ‘unlawfully assaulting another’.
