NEW DELHI: CPM General Secretary Sitaram Jechuria is currently in critical condition and is on ventilator support at AIIMS in New Delhi, a statement released by his party said on Tuesday. The 72-year-old leader is being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit for an acute respiratory infection. The party further stated that Yechury’s condition is being closely monitored by a team of doctors. They stressed that his condition remains critical at this time.
