Skye Wheatley makes a shock confession about her sexuality after struggle with old partner Lachlan

Skye Wheatley made a surprising admission about her sexuality on Thursday during the last episode of her Nova FM Podcast Skye & Callum.

The influencer, 31, shares Sons Forest, Five and Bear, three, with her current old partner of eight years, Lachlan Waugh.

The former Big Brother star confessed that she might have been ‘pansexual’ and would have investigated that side of herself if she never started dating with Lachlan.

Co-host Callum Hole started the conversation by saying: “So you clearly went to Lachie for a while.”

“Yes, eight years, strong,” she told the former Love Island star and revealed that they had their first child together only four months after they started dating.

‘Eight years, when you were 25. But I heard something that if you had more time, you might have explored your sexuality a little more? ” he asked.

Skye agreed and revealed that she learned about pansexuality while watching the Stan Reality TV show, Love Triangle.

“I didn’t know what pansexuality was until watching this show,” she said.

“But you are actually attracted to the personality of the person, not what sex they are … You can feel attracted to someone, but you are attracted by their personality.”

Callum, 27, clarifies: “So Pansexual is actually, you try to say that you are not attracted to their gender, do you simply feel attracted by their personality?”

“Yes, their personality and, like who they are as a person and so on,” Skye said before she revealed that she looks at her own attraction to people.

“And I’m so of, oh yes, all the way. I think I could go on that path because I certainly see people’s personalities for their appearance or gender.

“So I feel that I might explore that, whether I could have had it, not clear now, but I might have been able to go that path.”

“I find it really interesting, because I’m so much, yes, all … I definitely make contact with people’s personalities,” she added.

The confession comes after Skye and Lachlan, 34, caused confusion in November 2024 when they shared loved photos, only a few days after they had announced their split.

The couple looked very nice in photos that were shared with Instagram, which seemed to be taken during a night out.

She wrote cryptically in her caption: “I can’t say that we didn’t live life.”

Skye stunned in the photos while she showed the results of her recent eye lift operation while Lachlan kissed her on the cheek.

Further photos showed that the influencer was embraced as if nothing was wrong in their romance.

The blast drank a cocktail and set up a storm, clearly relaxed and in love with Lachlan despite their recent domestic problems.

Only a few days earlier, Skye confirmed that she was divorced from her partner.

The Gold Coast-based mother-of-two explained that Lachlan had not appeared in her recent Q&A videos, was because they decided to take the time apart.

‘To be honest not much to report. We just have a re-set break from time to time, it’s good, “she told her fans.

The former reality star has previously discussed the struggles of the couple and admitted that they recently went to counseling.

She said that 2024 all about achieving goals, a journey that included the challenges in her relationship with Lachlan.

“Lachy and I went to a counseling session yesterday,” said Skye.

The session, initially intended as occupational therapy for their son Forest, turned into a much needed intervention for the couple.

Skye realized that their son’s behavior could be influenced by their relationship dynamics and it led her to take action.
