Now that the concerns of the committee are clear, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has started a search for a skilled snake charmer who would be deployed at Ratna Bhandar to ensure the safety of people during the inauguration. Moreover, in case a snake manages to get close, a team of doctors will also be ready with a medicine kit. “We have sent a draft SOP for the opening of Ratna Bhandar to the government for approval, where we have requested for the deployment of a snake charmer and a doctor/team of doctors during the inauguration of the divine treasury,” a senior SJTA official said.
