Veteran Soap actor Chris Robinson died at the age of 86.
The star was best known for roles like Dr. Rick Webber in General Hospital and Jack Hamilton in the Bold and the Beautiful.
Musician MJ Allen, who directed his last screen roll in the feature film 2022 only for a week, wrote on Facebook: ‘Prolific Hollywood actor Chris Robinson died at the age of 86.
‘He continued peacefully in his sleep on his ranch near Sedona, Arizona at 12.30 pm on June 9, 2025.
“He had been heartbreaking for a while and is his official cause of death.”
Chris is survived by the woman of fourteen years, the artist Jacqui Shane-Robinson.

Between 1978 and 1986 he started his role of Dr. Rick Webber of the originator Michael Gregory in General Hospital.
His most striking storylines include a love triangle with his wife Lesley Webber and Monica Quartermaine.
After this he joined another world at the end of 1987, where he played the role of Jason Frame and was reunited with Denise Alexander, who had played Lesley in General Hospital.
He then appeared on another soap opera, the daring and the beautiful as Jack Hamilton, who participated in the early nineties and left after three years.
He last appeared in this part in 2005, after he had made several guest appearances over the years. Robinson returned to the General Hospital after an absence of 16 years in 2002, only to see his character of Rick killing in a controversial storyline that changed the back story.
In 2013 he appeared in an episode of the celebration of 50 years as Rick’s Geest, and made peace with his old rival Alan Quartermaine when they both appeared to the sister of Monica and Alan, Tracy.
