Soccer am Legend Andy Goldstein had an 8-0 win in the UK Open Pool Championship after his opponent could not appear.
Goldstein, who now works for Talksport, is one of a field of 256 players who entered the tournament for a chance of winning the £ 200,000 prize fund.
The presenter, 51, would face James Aranas in his second game on the opening day.
Aranas won the World Cup Pile In 2023 as part of the triumphanty side of the Philippines.
He worked with Johanna Chua to become the first team that won the tournament, even though he came in like a non -sowed competitor while they beat Germany 11-7 in the final.
Today, however, the 33-year-old was not shown for the collision in Telford.
Consequently, Goldstein was handed over a bye in the second round, recorded as an 8-0 win.
After the match was officially declared in his favor, Goldstein wandered through the Chamber to celebrate his victory.
He was able to show the crowd some of his skills by playing on the table after the result was declared.
Earlier in the day he was 9-1 beaten by Ramazan Akdag.

Goldstein will return tomorrow to play his next game at 10 am.
The first 256 players will be returned to a last 16 by 9 May.
The last competition will take place on 11 May.
