Originally announced in November 2024, the 122.88TB Model from Solidigm’s D5-P5336 SSD has been officially on sale.

It is clear that this is not a drive for your typical PC -Rig -it uses a PCIE 4.0 interface and is delivered in U.2 (now available) and E1.L (expected later this year) Form factors. Longer -coming QLC
The drive was built with 192-layer QLC Nand. With endurance at 0.60 disk writes per day and a total of 134.3 Petabytes written over five years, it is 122.88 TB model designed to last longer than previous QLC offers.
SolidigM, a subsidiary of SK Hynix, who has been established in the US, has reportedly tested the disk under extreme conditions. Running 32kb randomly writes with full tax, the disk worked continuously for five years and retained approximately 5 percent of its lifespan.
Performance claims include a maximum of 930,000 IOPs for 4k Random reads and 7.4 Gbps for successive lectures.
Solidigm marks his Large SSD As a solution for space and current restrictions in data centers, replacing traditional hybrid systems claims can reduce the rack of nine to one and power consumption by around 90 percent with its all-QLC drives.
The disc joins other SSDs with high capacity announced in 2024, including models from Phison, Samsungand Western digital. The SSD of Phison supports PCIE Gen5 and offers faster peak passing, although the D5-P5336 provides higher endurance and greater storage density.
