Sonia Kruger lists a luxury five-bedroom, four-bathroom home for a whopping $18.5 million after an extensive renovation
Sonia Kruger has put her luxury mansion up for sale for a whopping $18.5 million.
The 56-year-old and her TV partner Craig McPherson bought the beachside Mosman home for $6.5 million in 2015.
Since then, the entertainment couple has renovated the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home and is asking almost triple the price they bought it for.
The renovations, which were interrupted in 2020 by the coronavirus pandemic, included a major exterior renovation and a complete rebuild of the third floor.
The third floor now has a wrap-around balcony, an outdoor kitchen, a dining table and a lounge area.
The main level originally had two smaller balconies and a beautiful cathedral ceiling inside, which was demolished to build their sleek new outdoor space.
The house also has a veranda with an additional dining table and lounge on the ground floor terrace, which leads to the family’s perfectly manicured lawn.
The lavish home also features a wet-edge infinity pool, studio, internal elevator and private guest quarters.

Other highlights include a limestone kitchen with high-end Miele induction appliances and flexible spaces for a gym or media room.
The house also offers views of Balmoral Beach, a triple garage and a wine cellar.
But the extensive renovation was not without its challenges for Sonia and partner Craig.

In May 2020, Craig told The Daily Telegraph that he regretted starting the renovation but that it was ‘too late to go back’.
‘Had [coronavirus] happened before we decided to go ahead…there’s no way we would have done it. It might be the worst time to do something like this.”
“But we started the process six months ago and it’s too late to go back.”
It was previously estimated that the massive renovation cost the couple $1 million.
