Sony has confirmed that the next State of Play presentation will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24, and will “deliver news and updates on more than 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world.”
The announcement, which was made on X / Twitterwas joined by a new PlayStation Blog Post also confirming that it will be a “30+ minute” show. Beyond the above, both are pretty thin on the ground in terms of actual information on what to expect, though we do know that you’ll need to tune in tomorrow, September 24th at 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT / 11pm BST to see the show. It also confirms that you’ll be able to watch the stream via the PlayStation YouTube channel and Twitch.
With the PlayStation 5 Pro now announced – and PS5 Pro pre-orders starting this week – expect this State of Play to undoubtedly be about the games and what Sony has in store for the year ahead.
We are still waiting for updates on long-awaited rumors and hope that they will come to fruition. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DLC, any news about Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, and more details about Hideo Kojima’s next game Death Stranding 2: On the BeachFor example.

There’s a lot of information out there about successful games and big-name studios we’d like to hear more about, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
With PlayStation’s 30th anniversary fast approaching, we might expect to hear more about those festivities – in addition to the limited edition hardware and collectibles already announced.
