Sony MDR-M1 Studio Headphones Launched in India: Check Price

Sony MDR-M1 closed-back headphones have been launched in India. They feature an over-ear design with soft, thick ear cushions and come with support for detachable 6.3mm and 3.5mm cables. The headphones offer users a 360-degree spatial sound experience, the company claims. They are said to offer high-fidelity audio output and are aimed at professionals like music producers and artists. The company claims that the headphones have been developed with inputs from professional audio engineers like Mike Piacentini of Battery Studios and Akihiro Nishimura of Berklee NYC.

Sony MDR-M1 Headphones Price in India

The Sony MDR-M1 headphones are priced at Rs. 19,990 in India and are available for purchase via Sony Centers, authorized Sony dealers and e-commerce sites like Amazon and Flipkart. They will be available for purchase starting September 26. As a limited time offer ending on October 31, the headphones are available for Rs. 17,990.

The Sony MDR-M1 closed-back headphones have an over-ear design with an adjustable headband and soft, thick ear cushions. They are aimed at music professionals and the design is said to provide a comfortable fit that helps to reduce ear fatigue from prolonged use.

The Sony MDR-M1’s closed acoustic structure is also said to prevent sound leakage and minimize interruptions from ambient noise, which can help people when recording, mixing or reviewing a song. The headphones have a 40mm neodymium driver that supports audio between 5Hz and 8KHz. They are said to offer a high-fidelity 360-degree spatial sound experience with low distortion.

Sony MDR-M1 studio headphones support detachable 6.3mm and 3.5mm cables. The cables are available out of the box and are 1.2m and 2.5m long. The headphones weigh 216g and are offered in a single black hue.
